Early Childhood Career Pathways Grant
Through funding from the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), 十大彩票平台 offers early educators the coursework needed to launch or advance their careers in Early Childhood Education. The Certificate of Completion in Early Childhood Education is available in both English and Spanish. Courses are primarily online, and any in-person meetings are held in the evening.
Students in the Certificate program can elect to earn the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential as well. They receive support in CDA portfolio development and exam preparation. The CDA application fee is paid by the grant.
When funding permits, Career Pathways also offers stand-alone courses that are in high demand for educators who are seeking to obtain EEC Professional Certification as Teacher, Lead Teacher, and Director. These stand-alone courses are offered free of cost to students who meet eligibility requirements.
To request information about upcoming high-demand courses, email pathwaysgrant@d220149.com.
Eligibility
Students seeking to enroll in the Early Childhood Certificate of Completion must apply to the College and meet all admissions requirements for acceptance into the program at 十大彩票平台. Students seeking to register for high-demand courses must also apply to the college but are not required to present their High School Diploma or GED.
All interested individuals must have residency in Massachusetts (lived in Massachusetts for at least six months), and be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen as defined by federal student aid guidelines.
Cost
The MassEducate and MassReconnect programs allow all Massachusetts residents access to community college for free. Both programs include an allowance for books and supplies for eligible students. Textbooks and laptops are available to borrow.
Certain non-US citizen students, including undocumented students, who have attended high school in Massachusetts for at least three (3) years and earned a high school diploma (or the equivalent) in the Commonwealth, may apply for in-state tuition rates and state financial aid under the Massachusetts Application for State Financial Aid (MASFA).
